Hello

Hello and welcome! I am Emily Kim, a licensed professional counselor with the Counseling Continuum. I recently graduated from the School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health program at Xavier University. I completed my undergraduate work in Communication Studies from Xavier University in 2019. I am a full-time Middle School Counselor and am very passionate about education. I am a life-long learner and am eager to grow my knowledge. I enjoy working with all groups of people; specifically adolescents and young adults. I believe those are some of the most formative years of one's life. I did my internship experience with Cincinnati Children's Hospital and Medical Center, where I provided therapy in a school-based setting.

I utilize many different modalities, and place a strong emphasis on helping others find strengths and solutions to help them identify aspects within themselves that can be used to help overcome whatever their presenting challenge may be. I believe that we all can use the strengths we possess to make positive changes in our lives. I applaud your bravery in taking the first step in seeking out support.
