Hello

Hi, I am Carla Seemann. I founded the Counseling Continuum with one thing in mind... growth. Growth is part of a health and fulfilling life. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth, change, and genuine connections. We all have the ability to develop meaningful connections with the important people in our lives, as well as ourselves.

The word continuum references something that changes in character gradually or in very slight stages without any clear dividing point. The human struggle to overcome the challenges life throws our way can be described as being on a continuum. The struggles are real and anyone needing to find their way back to growth and genuine connection is welcome here. I am here to help you acquire the self-awareness, self-compassion, and skills for connection that you need to move forward and enjoy all that this life has to offer.

My Story

I have been in the counseling field for over 30 years and have worked in many different therapeutic environments, including medical practices, psychiatric practices, employee assistance programs, hospitals, and chemical dependency programs. In addition to assisting clients with their emotional growth, I also assist graduate students with their academic and clinical growth by being adjunct faculty at Xavier University's Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I also provide clinical supervision to other counselors practicing in the Cincinnati area.
